Workshop on “Clay Modelling”
It’s not all work and no play for students of Animaster Academy. The faculty have a way of combining fun workshops with learning. One such fun-day was the Clay Modelling workshop held for the students who study 3D modelling as part of their course work. The students were first taught to sculpt a rhinoceros, which is a perfect model to understand the four important elements of 3D modelling – anatomy, form, proportion and volume. They got their hands dirty but came up with some very cute clay rhinos. The second half of the workshop was given to the students to sculpt anything they wanted. It was interesting to see their creativity with clay. Some recreated their childhood dolls, some made their superheroes such as Ironman, Spiderman, etc. and some sculpted mermaids and aliens. The clay play ended well with everyone taking home something they created and some-thing that they learnt.
